The Council has taken final action on the 2011 salmon season for the KMZ as follows:
Recreational:
Oregon KMZ; May 14 to Sept. 5, 2011, all salmon except coho, two fish per day, seven days a week, 24" min. size.
California KMZ: May 14 to Sept. 5, 2011, all salmon except coho, two fish per day, seven days a week, 24" min. size.
Oregon, Cape Falcon to Humbug MtN.; March 15 through Sept. 30, 2011, two fish per day, seven days per week, all salmon except coho.
Cape Falcon to Humbug MtN. all salmon mark select coho fishery; July 2 through earlier of August 13 or a landed catch of 16,000 marked coho.
Cape Falcon to Humbug MtN. non-mark select coho fishery; Sept. 1 through 10 or a landed catch of 3,000 non-mark select co ho quota, Thurs. through Sunday, Sunday through Weds. all salmon except coho.
Commercial;
Oregon KMZ; May 1-31,
June 1 through June 30 or a landed catch of 1,500 Chinook.
July 1 through July 31 of a landed catch of 1,200 Chinook
August 1 through August 31 or a landed catch of 1,000 Chinook.
Remaining quota rolls to the following month on an impact neutral impact basis.
Seven days a week, 28" min. size.
Calif. KMZ; July 2 to the earlier of July 20 or a 1,400 Chinook quota
Aug. 1 through the earlier of Aug 31 or a 1,000 Chinook quota.
Remaining quota rolls over to the next month on an impact neutral basis
Seven days per week 27" min. size.
